Biret Adden, Vice President
Biret Adden is Education Director with the Point Reyes National Seashore Association where she develops and manages youth and community education programs, including immersive overnight nature experiences at the park. Currently, she is working with community partners to bring underrepresented youth to Point Reyes and is creating a site-specific K-8 EE matrix to help teachers take advantage of local outdoor learning.
Biret holds an MA in Environmental Education and Communication from Royal Roads University where she received a rank of Distinction for her thesis “Exploring the Outside Within: A Narrative Study of Identity and Teachers’ Experiences Learning to be Naturalists.” In 2014 she was recognized by the CEEF Board for Excellence in Environmental Education and is excited to continue her work with CEEF.
